Heliconia indica 'Spectabilis' - Rooted Plant!

Spectacular red-leaved Heliconia, with compact upright growth. Blooms are not as showy as in other heliconias but leaves have incredible golden-reddish colours, showing green only in full shade. The classic bold foliage of tropical Asian gardens.

What do we exactly ship?

We ship a stout, rooted plant with shoots and leaves, started from a field-grown rhizome.

We usually ship a two eyed rhizome, for all our heliconias, but rhizomes of this species are much weaker. They are shorter, like banana corms, and do not root so easily. So we preferred to make real plants for our customers, even they come out to be more expensive.
