Colourful variegated philo. 'Painted Lady' it is not new, while it is a "classic" successful hybrid with lots of pink-red colour on stems and glossy yellow streaked leaves. It was obtained in the 60's by the plant breeder Robert H. McColley. He crossed ‘Burgundy’ with (probably) ‘Emerald Queen’. So this plant was born with a lot of "blood" from Philodendron erubescens and (probably) some genes from Philodendron hastatum, P. wendlandii and P. imbe.
