Tradescantia sillamontana

Beautiful wooly plant native to Mexico. It sheds all branches for a few weeks or few months in the bad season and then comes back. All leaves are coated with white threads and large pink flowers emerge profusely. It is very easy to grow, in pots our rockeries.

About its cold tolerance, it takes cold during its winter rest so it thrives outdoors in Mediterranean climates but it shoud be kept on the dry side and protected from hard frost.

We ship a bare rooted branched clump that will bloom in the first year. According to the season it will have leaves or not.
