This is actually a variegated clone of a hybrid of 'Fireball' with some other species, known as 'Fallan'. True variegated fireballs do not exist and this is the closest thing we can think of.
Leaves are green, leaf stalks are matte, often tinged with a pinkish.brownish hue. It is used in polynesian cuisine to prepare a "fairly good poi".
This hybrid of sensational beauty has some blood of Aechmea fasciata. Bold red flowers are held by leaves of a very deep dark green. It is distributed from holland by Meewisse and the full name is Aechmea 'Rozanne Elegant Red'.
Interesting deciduous vine from Central and South America
Densely branched shrub with exotic bell-shaped flowers, produced during 2 or 3 months in Spring. This rare endemic of Eastern Cape is far from common in cultivation but it is very resistant to drought and frost.
Beautifull caudiciform from South Africa, with a very attractive rounded grey-and-white caudex and nice lobate leaves, reminiscent of many passifloras that belong to its same family.
Soursop, Guanabana or Graviola is a very large fruit, popular in in Tropical American countries. It is a small to medium sized tree. The delicious green fruits contain a white flesh, juicy and aromatic, with a slightly acidic flavour. It is also used medicinally.
This variegated clone is just as frost hardy as the wild species but its colour pattern is hypnotic! It is full of perfect yellow stripes, often wider at the center of each leaf. It is a supreme ornamental that can't be missed in any tropical garden far from the tropics, said to be hardy to at least -7 C.
Aechmea ornata is hardy to some good frost, to at least -7 C. This variety Hoehneana has minor differences in the inflorescence but our plants are truly dwarf, with a mottled pale green colour, often with a pink hue on the tips.
Very beautiful Philodendron with thick stalks and thick simple leaves. It is gorgeous in high light, when it gets to the adult stage and the growht becomes very dense.
The fruit is short, round but with a high weight, its skin is red-yellow, the flesh is yellow, smooth and with very low presence of fibres. Mid-late season. Young leaves are brown-reddish in colour. This mango is very juicy - one of our favourites!

Atro-viridis means dark-green in Latin: Leaves have wide leaflets and a red margin. They are also all-red below and the petiole has red blotches. The inflorescence is a beauty too.
