World deserts and dry areas are home to the most interesting plants. Canarius offers an increasing selection of succulent plants of maximum quality, because they are grown outdoors, under the full sun of the Canary Islands.
Succulents or "fat plants" are water-retaining species, adapted to dry conditions. They store succum (juice, water) in their leaves, stems or roots, and often show a stout and fleshy appearance.
Exotic plants are species from other parts of the world, and they usually have ornamental qualities: a lush foliage, colorful flowers, unusual shapes... Here you can find a great variety of exotic plants: from Bromeliads and Heliconias, to pamls and houseplants.

Lithops lesliei is a rather easy to grow living stone which is hypervariable as it occurs in a very wide area of South Africa. This form, albinica, is especially attractive because the whole plant turns golden yellow or bright green depending on the season.
This species is smaller than other livistonas, with glossy drooping segments, reminiscent of the more common, and much larger, Livistona decora.
Livistona fulva is a palm species, restricted in distribution to the Blackdown Tablelands in central Queensland, Australia. Livistona fulva is a tall solitary palm. In nature, it grows in open forests; in cultivation. it prefers a warm temperate climate and sunny position.

Excellent Australian nut, able to grow in coastal Mediterranean to Tropical climates. Ornamental deep green leaves with serrated margins. Flushes of juvenile foliage are yellow, red or maroon for a while. An expensive, sought after healthy nut.
"Osage orange" is a deciduous tree from North America, producing unusual, large green fruits. These are unedible yet very exotic-looking and ornamental and resemble the fruits of the breadfruit tree.
Fantastic foliage shrub from Melanesia, with heart-shaped rounded leaves which are glossy, deep green, leathery and textured too! It is easy to keep in shape and size by cutting "canes" at any desired height.
The size of this plant is: about 4 years old. 2-3 cm base, leaves about 40-60 cm tall. Mid-sized Macrozamia from a few locations by the coast in Central Queensland, close to "Mount Perry". Elegant arching glossy leaves.

Fuji is the sweetest of all commercial apples it is also crispy and has a long shelf life, with an attractive red-and-yellow skin colour.
Evergreen, everblooming shrub with exotic hibiscus-like red flowers. "Mexicanus" is a classic form used for its beauty with much larger drooping flowers. It grows outdoors in Mediterranean to Tropical climates and takes drought. It is also suitable for pots and pruning so it can be grown in northern latitudes and kept pruned indoors in the coldest months.
