If you like exotic plants, you just came to the right place. Canarius offers the hard-to-find exotic plants which are seldom available in garden centres. Our shop has natural species as well as rare hybrids. We offer exotic plants from the Canary Islands.

World deserts and dry areas are home to the most interesting plants. Canarius offers an increasing selection of succulent plants of maximum quality, because they are grown outdoors, under the full sun of the Canary Islands.
Succulents or "fat plants" are water-retaining species, adapted to dry conditions. They store succum (juice, water) in their leaves, stems or roots, and often show a stout and fleshy appearance.
Exotic plants are species from other parts of the world, and they usually have ornamental qualities: a lush foliage, colorful flowers, unusual shapes... Here you can find a great variety of exotic plants: from Bromeliads and Heliconias, to pamls and houseplants.
Exotic plants do not have a particular use. Collectors buy this kind of plants for their rarity, for indoor or outdoor decoration, depending on their features.

Perfection exists. This bromeliad is a variegated clone of the already spectacular hybrid named "Fosperior"… Foster's Superior. Smaller in size, it has outstanding dark and red stripes.
NEW - Small bromeliad able to withstand sun and shade. Good for terrariums.
There is almost too much colour in this small Neo hybrid. Thep coppery-red to red-pink leaves are variably marked in green to yellow, with spots and longitudinal dashes.
Supreme classic hybrid developed by Yamamoto before 1982. Leaves are purple-black, intensely spotted with green dots. The rosette can reach 40-60 cm in diameter. It is very adaptable and can take both shade and full sun.
Our best spotted purple Neoregelia hybrid! Shylock grows into a 40 cm rosette, with a "galaxy effect" with bright yellow spots on a rich purple-burgundy background.
This neoregelia will grow an imposing, elegant rosette, up to 50 cm wide with a colourful violet blush in the centre. Darker maroon spots cover the whole plant. It is a "mistery cross" probably originated in Holland in the 50's. It has some obvious blood and cold-hardiness of Neoregelia concentrica.
Large Neo hybrid, up to 60-70 or more cm in diameter. Leaves are toughand always brightly coloured, mottled in greens and reds. It is actually one of those "chloro-stict" neos with green blotches on a red background.
Very glossy leaves, rounded, red-tipped. As it blooms, a coral-pink flush appears on the apple-green rosette. It needs bright light and it is resistant to full sun. This hybrid was developed in 1981.
Neoregelia ‘Wine and Gold’ is a medium sized Neoregelia hybrid that reaches a spread of up to 25 to 30 cm at its mature stage. As its name suggests, this specimen displays a green base tone that turns into an attractive golden hue speckled with a beautiful wine red shade when grown under higher lighting.
Old hybrid of unquestioned beauty, with neat thin red leaves on an orange-to-green background.
A most popular carnivorous plant. This nepenthes can easily grow indoors too, we ship it with its hanging basket, much like the one in the picture.
"Splendens Foliis Variegatis" ... it is a splendid name! This variegated, double-pink oleander is an unsurpassed old European cultivar, which was first mentioned in 1854 in Handbuch der Blumengärtnerei, by J.W. F. Bosse.
Classic waterlily which is known from a large part Africa, spanning from Tropical Kenia to South Africa and Madagascar. Its flower shows he boldest contrast of blue and yellow. It is diurnal, with flowers opening and closing for three consecutive days.
Nymphaea Hardy Jakkaphong. Medium size. Pink flower, with random white or pink-white flowers. Bronze green leaf. Planting from 20 to 40cm deep
Nymphaea tropical Miami Rose. Intense pink flower, thin and lanceolate petals. Serrated leaves and marbled color.
This tropical waterlily is a piece of art. 'Missouri' is pure elegance, with white, lemon scented flowers and elegant dark-green leaves.
Nymphaea hardy 'Painted Lady'. Medium size. Flower with many petals. Light pink color and sometimes all pink and sometimes white. The leaves are brown mottled with pink or yellow-white and randomly the leaf appears mottled in two colors brown and pink.
Nymphaea Hardy Paranee. Medium size. Predominantly yellow flowers, sometimes the petals are marbled with Red-Orange. Green leaves with brown ribs and edges.
