Aechmea leptantha 'Albo-marginata'

Large variegated bromeliad, 50-90 cm tall, with bold rainbow colours, showing an impressive array of orange, pink, green, yellow and red. 

Colours change through the seasons, and the pale bands turn pink to orange while the green parts become darker or paler. The colourful inflorescence is enormous and long lasting, up to 1,7 m tall.

The wild, non-variegated, species is native to Paraíba and Pernambuco in Brazil.
