Easy growing bromeliad from Eastern Brazil. Aechmea roberto-seidelli has an upright, funnel-shaped rosette of somewhat spiny leaves. Their colour is green, tinting reddish-bronze in medium to strong light with very light silver banding. The inflorescence is 'corn-cob' shaped, yellow with red bracts. It is can resist to short light frost.
