Succulent shrub from SW Madagascar, with brown-grey stems, with a rough texture, regularly dotted with of clusters of short, dark spines. This species grows into a nice, exotic structure. In cultivation it is often seen reaching 1-1,5 m tall, but in habitat it is said to attain up to 8 m in height. Here we offer a young plant with one stout stem, unbranched or lightly branched, rooted from cuttings picked from our robust, field-grown plants.
