The famous Aloe vera known for holding many healthy properties. Plants grow 30-80 cm (12-30") in diameter. Leaves are green-glaucous during the growing season and turn pink-copper during dry spells. Plants will beautifully bloom in Spring through Summer with tall yellow inflorescences. The tips of these inflorescences are edible and can be eaten raw or cooked.

It tolerates light frosts if kept dry.
