Billbergia viridiflora -green -

Viridi-flora means "green flowers". This upright growing Billbergia species will produce elegant hanging inflorescence with pink bracts and glossy green flowers.

It has a wide distribution, from Tabasco in So.Mexico to Guatemala and it is found on rocky areas, in forest and savanna, from near sea level up to 150-250 m asl. Nevertheless the IUCN reports it is declining because primary habitats have been severely altered, degraded and fragmented.

We offer one large rooted pup of Billbergia viridiflora , of 30-40 cm, able to flower in one year.
