New
Oh my , oh my ! A Brunsvigia with cherry red flowers is a must! Leaves grow flat on the ground, with the typical wide, rounded Brunsvigia shape. The red flowers are very bright. This hard to find species grows in a winter rainfall region of South Africa and frequently blooms after severe drought or even fires. Nevertheless it blooms regularly in cultivation once the bulbs get large enough.
These bulbs are now about four years old, sown from seeds in 2017. They belong to the population found in Franschoek, RSA.
