This is a cross between two uncommon dwarf palms from eastern central Brazil. It is said to be a natural hybrid because two populations overlap in the same area. Both parents are cold-hardy palms, suitable to plant in milder parts of Europe. Remind they are full-sun lovers and drainage is important to improve cold-hardiness. The plant we offer is quite robust, a 3 years old specimen in 16 cm pots.
