Attractive wax palm native to the lower Andes in Ecuador. It has a smooth, slender trunk with a dense crown of flat, spreading leaves, dark green above and silvery below. All Ceroxylon species take some frost but they suffer in hot summers. Ceroxylon quindiuense will tolerate heat better than any other species.
