Dioon argenteum

2 years old, 20-30 cm tall. This Dioon is elegant and different, with a stout trunk and glowing blue arching leaves with "V"arranged leaflets. It was described in 2003 and it is also frost hardy. Seeds are hard to find and awfully expensive, but we got a few for our nursery.

This Dioon is elegant and different, with a stout trunk and glowing blue arching leaves with "V"arranged leaflets. It was described in 2003 and it is native to Oaxaca, in Mexico, at 1100 - 1600 m, in pine and oak forests. It is frost hardy too!
