Folotsia floribunda

This Folotsia or Cynanchum looks quite different from those that are around. The thick stems are surely attractive because of their beautiful mottling. We offer a 2 year old seedling, H:20 cm.

The genus Folotsia (five described species) is endemic to Madagascar. All known species are leafless
succulents with vestigial scale leaves, and all but one are climbers. They have all recently included into the genus Cynanchum, but they are easily recognized even without flowers. The small flowers are produced in heads along the stems.
