Evergreen haemanthus with very wide leaves laying on the ground, held more or less flat and quite smooth, typical of this form, and reminiscent of Haemanthus deformis. It produces white brush-like inflorescences in late summer or fall. In the past it has been sold in the trade as a form of Haemanthus deformis.
