Yellow-orange berries are a nice addition to the beauty of this species. Hydnophytum has succulent leaves but it is evergreen and IT IS NOT a succulent (!) so do not give it any type of drought or rest and do not make it shed leaves. It is found in different types of forests from the Philippines to Australia. Just keep it in bright light, at temperatures above 12 C in well drained conditions and water often. Use any fast draing substrate! It is suitable for terrariums and indoor vertical gardens. Our plant belong to the strain released by Holland's firm Bak as Hydnophytum papuanum 'Treasure'.
