This is a Cavendish Type banana, the common commercial cultivar grown worldwide, a Triploid AAA banana, originally from Southern China. Growth is easy and they bear huge bunches. This banana tree is cold sensitive, just as most cavendish bananas. Protect from temperatures below 8 C.
We ship potted young plants of at least 30 cm, locally grown in vitro for commercial plantations. Musa cv. Cavendish Brier is a European clone of banana originating in Tenerife, Spain.
