Neoregelia x 'Shylock'

Our best spotted purple Neoregelia hybrid. Shylock grows into a 40 cm rosette, with a "galaxy effect" with bright yellow spots on a rich purple background. It grows well in high light but it can be sun-scorched in hot summer days, when it needs a shading.

It is a good company plant to Neoregelia Sharlock, a similar hybrid with red-burgundy leaves. "Sharlock and Shylock"!
