Passiflora ligularis is a high-elevation passion fruit from the Andes. Leaves are very ornamental: perfectly hearth shaped.

It does well in cool climates and can fruit even in countries with short, cool summers. It must be protected from frost, but it can sprout back from the base if the roots are protected. It can also be pruned and broughy indoors.

The fruit is delicious. Passiflora ligularis is one of the best of all passion fruits.

It is called Sweet granadilla or Granadilla Dulce in Spanish, and Sweet Granadilla in English.
