Giant leaved aroid with glossy deep green leaves: some of the simplest and most beautilful of all. It climbs on huge trees, very slowly, but it can be kept low and it will creep on the ground. It loves hot and wet conditions but it is adaptable to harsher, sunny seaside locations.
It can be also used indoors, as long as you have the space and the light. Yes, it can adapt to your home!
As an adult plant, it will be a centerpiece of your garden, with 2, 3 or more meters of "wing span". Its white inflorescences are remarkable, because they heat up at night. Go pick one and place it in some water to experience how it heats up! This clone was originally collected in 1995 by Carlo Morici on the island of Nevis. We keep some huge mother plants in our nursery, climbing on mango and avocado trees. From them we produce a few suckers per year for our customers.
We offer a well-rooted healthy plant grown in high light, usually kept in a 16 cm pot... not floppy-leaved rooting cuttings!
