This is the white flowered cultivar of the popular garden shrub from South Africa. Plumbago capensis is an evergreen scrambling shrub. It can become a climber if it reaches a trellis. It takes light frosts and responds very well to pruning so it can be easily reduced in size and wintered indoors.

From the website plantzafrica.com: " There is also a white form which is very attractive. It is slightly less vigorous than the normal blue but is a prolific flowerer and wonderful for working gardeners who only see their gardens in the twilight - the white blooms appear to glow in the dusk."
