Unusual climbing shrub from subtropical South America, with yellow flowers and bright crimson three-winged fruits. Flowers and fruits occur simultaneously on the plant making a nice show. It is very easy to grow in pots and to keep small in size. Heteropterys angustifolia is deciduous or evergreen depending on conditions. It takes light frosts.
Here in Canarius we offer a potted plant, grown in peatmoss or coconut fiber. The graft will have at least one flush of leaves hardened, but most probably two or three.
