Be careful, it is damaged or killed by frost, nevertheless it is a naturally short species that can live for years in a container.

An interesting and easy to grow palm which thrives in sunny, moist, but well drained conditions. It adapts well to container growth. Be careful, it is damaged or killed by frost.
