Aechmea x Foster's Favorite is a bromeliad hybrid created by Foster in 1946. The mother was Aechmea racinae and the pollen parent was A. victoriana v. discolor

Excellent hybrid with red-maroon glossy leaves producing hanging dark coral-red inflorescences with blue tipped petals. it is perfect for hanging baskets.
