Heliconia caribaea is usually red in colour, but this clone has dark yellow blooms. This species is one of the best and easiest of all heliconias. Full sun keeps it compact and full of blooms.
Useful tree from the tropics of Asia and Africa, bering edible pink rounded fruits to 3 cm, which are sticky and sweet and loved by locals. It is deciduous, with ornamental foliage.
This is a hybrid climbing Philodendron, with exciting leaves. BGB is a fancy name meaning Big Glorious Bastard (with a mix of references to its hybrid origin,to its P. gloriosum parent and to the movie "Inglorious bastards" It is a cross of Philodendron gloriosum and Philodendron giganteum.
This philo with excitingly thin pinnate foliage is possibly a clone of the variable species Philodendron pedatum, selected for the particularly narrow lobes.
Selected clone with larger leaves and more fenestrations than usual, originally spread at auctions at Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami. It is larger than a typical adansonii and more "skeletal", with more holes when it matures, and so it looks similar to a Monstera obliqua.
