Las bromelias son plantas pequeñas de belleza extraordinaria. Viven generalmente en zonas inestables (sobre piedras o ramas). Por esto se adaptan bien a vivir en macetas.
Existen alrededor de 3.000 especies de bromelias; la mayoría son tropicales. Sin embargo, algunas proceden de lugares fríos y soportan incluso heladas. Aquí les ofrecemos algunas especies de tamaño pequeño y bastante rústicas.
