Aloe tauri grows on the southern escarpment in Zimbabwe, at 1000-1200 m asl in isolated colonies on hillsides among grasses on steep rock slabs, exposed to SE winds and mist.
It is often solitary, but it can occasionally branch from the base. Flowers are yellow-orange, with a hint of green. It eventually becomes a mid-sized species, good for garden landscaping in frostless areas.
We ship a sun-grown seedling of about two years. 22-26 cm diameter, then bare-rooted for shipping.
