Asplenium nidus, commonly known as the bird's nest fern, is a striking tropical fern prized for its glossy, wavy-edged fronds that radiate from a central rosette. Native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia, East Africa, and Oceania, this epiphytic plant thrives in warm, humid environments.
The plant's bright green, lance-shaped fronds can grow up to 50–150 cm long, with a leathery texture and prominent dark midrib. Its rosette-like structure resembles a bird's nest, hence its common name.
