This Dominican "bottle palm"makes a spectacular stout trunk and its leaves show the beautiful simmetry so typical in the genus Coccothrinax. It is native to a small area in the hills by the town of Bani. It takes some very light frosts and is not so slow as the rest of the genus. We offer a three years old palm with divided leaves, grown in a 14-16 cm pot.
