Musa 'Blue Java' Small

This banana tree needs no introdution. It is called "Blue Java" internationally. The original Thai name means "The blue moon of Java", the same was popularized as "Ice Cream" in the U.S.A.

It is an easy growing ABB banana which takes some frost and it is just as hardy as most ABBs like Orinoco-Bluggoe.

The blue colour is... BLUE... at least in the unripe bunch before the yellow appears. 

What do we ship?

We ship a stout rooted sucker, not a potted plant. You will receive it with the corm wrapped in a bag with moist sphagnum or perlite.

In spring, suckers may not have roots. In this case, suckers are easy to root if temperatures are kept between 20 and 30 C.
