Emperor, also known as Vishnu Gold, is a robust cultivar with very large and bold flowers which have a chalice-shape with tips curled outwards, reminiscent of a Crinum or a tulip. They have a waxy texture and a very rich yellow fading at white. Behind there is a red band. It typically starts early in season, opening huge individual flowers, and then, when the weather gets warmer or by the end of season, the whole inflorescence fills up a bit more with more flowers. It never becomes "full" but the size of each flower is outstanding. The scent is intense, sweet, with peach and citrus aromas.
We ship a well rooted plant 20/30 cm tall, sometimes branched, sometimes not. usually an adult tip-cutting that can bloom in one year or less. Plumerias are leafless in winter and spring and they can be shipped with pots or bare rooted in sphagnum.
