Rhapidophyllum hystrix - Specimen

The needle palm is the cold-hardiest of all palms. It is a clumping, short fan palm, with fibrous trunks, armed with long black spines. Leaves are dark green and glossy . It is native to open forests in the SE U.S.A. and can take hard frosts below -20 C.

We offer a nice old specimen which is about 8 years old. h= 80 cm - Son h= 35 cm. It is branched, with two heads, and will make more branches in the following years.
