Les Cycads sont un groupe de plantes primitives, de forme semblable aux palmiers et aux fougères. Ce sont les gymnospermes, de l'ordre des Cycadales, de sorte qu'ils ne produisent pas de fleurs, mais ils poussent en cônes, comme les pins et autres conifères. Elles se trouvent dans une grande partie des régions les plus chaudes du monde et sont souvent en danger et limités à des zones inaccessibles. Certains se développent dans les régions montagneuses froides et tolèrent le gel et la neige.
La plupart des espèces de Cycadales poussent bien en jardin et font d'excellentes plantes en pot. Certaines sont devenues des plantes ornementales populaires, tandis que d'autres sont très rares et sont protégées par la loi comme espèces CITES. Nos cycas sont des plantes âgées, cultivées à partir de semences, âgées de deux ans ou plus, cultivées dans de grands pots. Toutes les plantes sont produites légalement. Edentata is one of the most beautiful of the coastal Asian cycads. Leaves are glossy, with golden prominent veins. Leaf bases and young stems are coated with a reddish-golden "fur". It is quite fast and easy to grow and just as hardy as the typical rumphii-circinalis.

The size of this plant is: about 4 years old. 2-3 cm base, leaves about 40-60 cm tall. Mid-sized Macrozamia from a few locations by the coast in Central Queensland, close to "Mount Perry". Elegant arching glossy leaves.
