The species Aechmea distichantha is a well known cold-hardy Aechmea, resistant to about -6 C. It grows outdoors in Coastal Mediterranean Climates with no effort.
We offer one large, two years old, seedling of Aechmea distichantha var. schlumbergeri, of 20-30 cm, able to flower in one to two years. We ship it worldwide.
