Aechmea x 'Grove's Marginated'

Impressive frost-hardy variegated hybrid. It is a solid, perfect, showy monster that will be a tropical conversation-piece in any non-tropical garden. White, green and pink hues and dots all over!

It was developed by Grove, who was seeking a new cold-hardy bromeliad and crossed Aechmea distichantha schlumbergeri x A. caudata melanocrater. It is a slow-to-pup beauty and it is still new and very hard to find, especially in Europe.
