Brunsvigia josephinae, commonly called Josephine's lily or candelabra lily, is a deciduous, subtropical species of Brunsvigia originating from South Africa.
It is about 65 cm tall. Its bulbs have 2 dm. The leaves appear only in winter, they are bluish gray, 6 x 2 dm, typically ranging from 8-20 leaves per plant. The flowers are reddish-brown, but orange-yellow towards the base; tubular, appear late summer through fall.
