La famille des Bromeliaceae est une grande famille de plantes herbacées originaires des Amériques. Tout comme beaucoup d'orchidées, elles poussent naturellement sur les branches d'arbres ou des rochers au-dessus des falaises. Les Broméliacées sont très appréciées en raison de leurs couleurs incroyables et leur facilité de la croissance dans des pots.
Nous offrons une belle sélection de broméliacées qui ne sont jamais disponibles dans les centres de jardinage en Europe. La grande distribution vend surtout des hybrides à feuilles minces vertes. Notre boutique offre de plus en plus d’espèces avec des feuilles dures et colorées, mieux adaptées aux conditions chaudes et froides de la vie en plein air. Tous nos broméliacées sont expédiées à racines nues profondes "pups". Ce sont les drageons basaux robustes produits après la floraison. Les Broméliacées voyagent étonnamment bien en courrier et sont également pas chères à expédier. Nos pousses robustes vont souvent fleurir en moins d'un an.
NEW!Wide rosette of dark green leaves that are very dark underneath. The upright inflorescence reaches about 50 cm in height and lasts for months. It is chiefly red, with some yellow scattered here and there.
This is a "wow hybrid" with white-marginated wide leaves and a long lasting bright bloom. Aechmea x 'Friederike' is a cross of : Aechmea chantinii x Aechmea fasciata, mutated through in vitro cultivation, developed at Corn. Bak nurseries in Holland and released in 1984.
Impressive frost-hardy variegated hybrid. It is a solid, perfect, showy monster that will be a tropical conversation-piece in any non-tropical garden. It was developed by crossing Aechmea distichantha schlumbergeri x A. caudata melanocrater.

Frost-resistant hybrid, developed for non-tropical growers. It is descendant of the frost hardy Aechmea distichantha, crossed with Aechmea phanerophlebia. 'Rambo' builds a swollen monster rosette, of lime-green leaves armed with black spines. The pink inflorescence comes up from the top of the closed rosette.
This hybrid of sensational beauty has some blood of Aechmea fasciata. Bold red flowers are held by leaves of a very deep dark green. It is distributed from holland by Meewisse and the full name is Aechmea 'Rozanne Elegant Red'.

Majestic large bromeliad with fabulous colours. During the blooming months, the whole plant turns pink and a fuzzy white spike grows up to 70 cm tall.
