The most popular cold-hardy palm of all times. This species is known as Chinese windmill palm or Chusan.
It has been cultivated in China and Japan for thousands of years, for its strong leaf sheath fibre, used for making rope, sacks, and other coarse cloth where great strength is important. So now it is difficult to understand which was its natural habitat.
This palm will tolerate cold winters and also cool (or hot!) summers, so it will grow outdoors with little effort almost anywhere in Europe.
We offer a stout plant, about 30-60 cm tall, growin in a 18-22 cm pot
