Spectacular Japanese selection brought to the USA, where it was renamed "Color Guard". It is a variegated clone of a stemless Yucca species, with a golden central stripe. It grows elegant rosettes of glossy variegated leaves with undulate margins. Blooms are fantastic too: tall, compact, with large white flowers. It is very frost hardy.
